O'Connor Clan Aran Poncho
The O’ Connor Clan Poncho has a link centre stitch, flanked by cable, moss-filled diamonds and honeycomb panels on either side. The link stitch represents the unbroken chain between the Irish who emigrate and those who remain at home, cable stitch represents a wish for good luck, diamonds are a wish for wealth, and honeycomb is symbolic of work. This beautiful Aran poncho has been knit in the traditional báinín (pronounced ‘baw neen’) colour, the natural white of the wool. It comes to you complete with a clan history and crest. It is made of 100% pure new wool, is water repellent and breathable.
